The Spokane RiverHawks baseball team takes on the Kelowna Falcons in a three-game series July 29-31 at Patterson Baseball Complex. The RiverHawks are made up of elite collegiate baseball players, including GU student-athletes Tyson Van Winkle, AJ Proszek, Ernesto Ortiz, and Jake Hiatt.

Tuesday, July 29 – Canadian Night: welcome our "Neighbors to the North" to town, eh? $2 Tuesday: all admission, hot dogs, and pop are just $2!

Wednesday, July 30 – GU Employee Night: all Gonzaga Employees get free admission to the game after their picnic. All Gonzaga students receive discounted $2 admission with a valid GU I.D.

Thursday, July 31 – Free Baseball Cap Giveaway Night: first 350 fans through the gate get a Spokane RiverHawks baseball cap!

All games are at Patterson Baseball Complex at Gonzaga University, 6:30 p.m.

The Spokane RiverHawks Baseball Club is a collegiate invitational team. Players are chosen from top baseball programs of universities nationwide, and invited to play in Spokane. This means, only the best of the best take the field each night. The RiverHawks also have the distinction of being the only team in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League that functions as a non-profit: we seek to support Little League and American Legion to enhance youth baseball in the Spokane community. Go RiverHawks!

Our mission is to use the bicycle as a tool to empower people and build healthier communities. If you love your bike, then you will love to see the look on someone else’s face when they get a bike and learn how to fix it themselves.

P2P has many opportunities to help Spokane residents with bikes, but not enough volunteers that are knowledgeable about bike maintenance to reach everyone. Help us teach kids and adults how to do basic bike maintenance, and they will be forever grateful.

We are accepting bike donations. We would like adult medium to high quality bikes.

Portions of Pearl Street between DeSmet and Sharp Avenues will be temporarily closed from August 4 – 15th to allow the City Water Department to install a new water main for the Kennedy Apartment Complex.

Boone Avenue off of Ruby Street which is currently closed due to Kennedy II construction should be open prior to this water main work/street closure on Pearl.
